Training RESOURCES

In November of 2004, a local cable access show was filmed at Cherry Ledge Farm about Mint Black Jack, Lippitt Morgans and various farm activities. This filming brought about an overwhelming request to have training videos produced for the general horse public.

Printed training books in spiral bound format are also in the planning stages. The first one on round pen work is nearly finished. Email if you are interested in this great source of training knowledge.

Clinic Day at Cherry Ledge Farm

Call or email to receive questionaire for your needs to be covered in the clinic $40 fee to bring your horse for a 1 hour slot (regular lesson fee is $55-so you have a $15 savings).

***Must have a coggins within one year, proof of shots and horse must be healthy***
$10 fee to audit for the day.

We can cover round pen or ring topics for time slots, bring your issues and questions. Lunch can be taken at local resteraunt (Sweet Evelinas) and continue clinic in the afternoon, it will be a fun day for all. Visit our Clinics Page for more information.

Select horses available for on-farm lease

Have you always wanted a gorgeous, top quality Morgan Horse?? In this economy, you can enjoy yourself close to home and not have to spend money to buy a horse and not know what the future will hold. The lease program is for horse lovers interested in learning and working with one of my Morgans and with the supervision of Karen's lifetime of horse expertise to guide you.? The cost is $250. per month for their feed and upkeep (extra fees for routine spring shots, varies per horse and farrier requirements, which would be fully discussed prior to lease) 1/2 price lessons could be available for someone helping on the farm.

Available trails from farm, round pen, outdoor ring. Available showing at SNEHA shows held at Woodstock Fairgrounds (from May-Sept), Lippitt Country Show in Vt (if qualified) and Woodstock Fair Horse Show. Other shows could be discussed.
